Admission criteria to Junior Colleges ( 2-year Pre-U Course )
To be eligible for admission to the JC course, a student must obtain at the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, the minimum requirements of

• L1R5 ( excluding bonus ) of 6 – 20 points
• L1 grade of at least a C6
• MT grade of at least a D7
• Mathematics or Additional Mathematics grade of at least a D7
• Summary of how the aggregate are computed for entry into JC course  

Admission Criteria To Centralised Institutes ( 3-year Pre-U Course )
To be eligible for admission to the CI course, a student must obtain at the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, the minimum requirements of

• L1R4 ( excluding bonus ) of 5 – 20 points
• L1 grade of at least a C6
• MT grade of at least a D7
• Mathematics or Additional Mathematics grade of at least a D&
• CCA may be included as a relevant subject

Admission Criteria to Polytechnics
For admission into any polytechnics, all applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of

• ELR2B2 ( English, 2 Best relevant subjects and 2 other Best subjects )
• subjected to the ranking criteria for the courses that they are applying for.
